What's in the Directory?

The Directory reflects the diversity of civic, social and professional organizations on the Virginia Peninsula. Those organizations that assemble for community and volunteer spirit, family and hobby interests, sororal/fraternal and charitable activities or consumer and environmental services, and are not normally found in the telephone book, are included here. Entries appear at the request of the organizations listed.

New listings may be submitted at any time. Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg organizations with Peninsula chapters and contact persons should include Peninsula information.

Organizations listed here do not offer grants. Organizations or individuals seeking grant and fundraising sources are encouraged to visit the Library's Grant Materials Collection in the Special Collections Department.

Meeting rooms are available at the locations listed below. Groups interested in reserving a room should contact these organizations directly to determine eligibility requirements, hours of availability and possible fees.
