Friends of the Library

PURPOSE
The Friends of the Hampton Public Library is a support Friends of the Hampton Public Libraryorganization whose members offer their time, skills and financial support to the Hampton Public Library in a variety of ways.
 
  • Volunteer services
  • Library advocacy
  • Sponsorship of the library's Rental Collection
  • Financial support for children's programs, equipment & furniture
  • The Internet Demonstration Program

  • Friendly Footnotes, a quarterly newsletter featuring:
  • Calendar of Events
  • New Book List
  • News from the Library Director
  • Semi-annual used book sales, winter and summer
  • Best of Friends Gift Shop, Main Library lobby (staffed by members of the Friends of the Hampton Public Library.) Gift Shop Hours:
    • Monday-Friday: 10am - 4pm
    • Saturday: 11am - 3pm
    • Sunday: 2pm - 4pm
